Today I'm doing this...

Today I should be doing lots of things but instead I have spent the morning downloading Christmas songs from i tunes. I should feel guilty~ maybe for a nano second. This is me, preparing for Christmas in August! Christmas is my favorite time of year. I spend all year looking forward to Christmas.
I've noticed that people are all so stressed and depressed when Christmas comes around. I try to cheer them all up. If I start early enough, then by the time the great event arrives, everything looks effortless.


I already have a huge collection of cool Christmas hits so I wanted to add some really old fashioned tracks for this years playlist.

I am ashamed to say that I don't know anything about classical music or the Ballet, but I can appreciate all music, whether I am familiar with it or not. This is a perfect Christmas album. My favorite tracks below.

Then I picked one of Grandma's favorites~ Gene Autry. Actually I really love this album due mainly to the image of old black and white Holiday movies that it conjure's up for me. This totally hits the nostalgia mark.

Frosty the Snowman.

I also discovered this album by Jo Stafford. Again very nostalgic. I should have only bought a track or two but ended up purchasing the whole album.

Glen Miller was one of my Dad's favorites. i still had to download it though since my Dad's versions are on vinyl!
